Reducing Health Insurance Premiums
February 26th, 2010 | by admin |With the cost increases in health care in the United States, there has naturally been a coinciding increase in health insurance plan premiums. Here are a couple of ways to reduce the monthly cost of your insurance.
Health insurance companies have deductibles, co-pays, network considerations and other ways that you can use to reduce your monthly premiums. Generally the more you offer to pay out of your own pocket, the cheaper the premiums will be. If you are young and over 18 and healthy, then this is what you should look at. You have a better chance of not needing health care.
If your spouse has a plan where he/she works, then look at both coverage’s. Would it be more advantageous to go with one of the couple’s coverage or maybe it would be better just to keep both of them in action.
