A forced turn around for the HD DVD?
March 17th, 2010 | by admin |With the global economy finally starting to get back on it’s feet, it may be no suprise that consumers are still a little worried about spending more than they have to on things like entertainment.
For this reason, the price comparison difference between the Sony bluray and the Toshiba HD DVD is creating a unique situation. The HD DVD format was left out to dry in 2008 but with some many HD DVD Players in circulation still, people are flocking to that media for their high definition home theater needs. This could put Sony under the gun to reduce prices or create a interesting decision to be made by the other movie giants to begin to support the HD DVD yet again.
