The 2005 legislative session convincingly demonstrated that this environment has forever changed. Unless the citizens of Texas band together to codify their freedom to access the health care modalities of their choice, progressively more onerous restrictions on health care choice will be imposed by economically motivated special interest groups and their allies in the legislature. The time has come to act.
