Chakras are energy centers in your body. When these centers are off it creates disease. The Reiki healing helps restore these chakras to healthier conditions which, in turn, heals whatever issues you may be having physically, emotionally, mentally or spiritually. It’s wonderfully gentle and very relaxing.

Im a Reiki Master. People who have experienced this warming, relaxing, flowing energy have physical relief as well as emotional.
Reiki can balance and align a system which is blocked and clogged.

The chakras are not exclusive to Reiki but reiki healers often refer to them in healing work. The chakra system that I am most familliar with is the Kundalini chakra system in which there are seven major energy centers that are located in line with the spinal column. These are also related to the meridians used in accupuncture.

Each chakra corresponds with a color, the organs in that area of the body and related emotional/spiritual issues. The issues represented in the areas of the chakras closely mirror Maslow’s hierarchy of needs with the more fundamental needs being near the bottom of the spine, like food and shelter and the needs like spirituality and self actualization nearer the head.

When one has a block in the energy in an area, It can leave you vulnerable to illnesses and issues related to that chakra, likewise, you are having a physical, mental or spiritual challenge in a certain area of your body or your life, it can block the flow of energy through that chakra.

The Reiki Master can help restore the energy flow to these areas making it easier for the natural healing process of the body to take place. They can also offer suggestions, if they sense low energy in a praticular chakra or if you have a complaint relative to a chakra.

For instance, sometimes low back pain can be associated with a lack of feeling secure in the world, money trouble, unsafe environment, fears for the future. While restoring the energy flow to this area and easing the pain, the healer may offer suggestions for creating a better sense of security or coping with unsecured situations. That can help reduce the risk of the pain returning.

The energy is neutral and awaits the positive, productive empowerment by the healer and client. The Reiki practitioner plays an instrumental part in transformation, and yet, it is ultimately up to the client to manifest harmony and balance in their life. The Reiki practitioner is a instrument and must not allow the EGO-WILL to desire the client well. The Reiki practitioner must be a clear vessel through which the healing energy flows. This allows the highest good to be the outcome of the healing.
