Is Reiki is carrer oriented Healing Technique like Homeopathy or Ayurveda ?

i want to learn Reiki and want to know that would i be able to use it as professionally ?

Reiki is an "energy" therapy. It draws on Universal Life Energy. It is a channeled energy, which is accessible to anyone who knows how to do it, however receiving the Reiki attunements helps most people be able to channel it more effectively. If you take a Reiki training with a responsible Reiki Master, you will learn how to channel the energy.

Reiki treatment works on all levels of the being, from the physical to the emotional, to the spiritual, to relieve issues.
It works in conjunction with any other therapy, to heal on all levels.

If you are already working with an energy-related therapy, such as acupuncture, acupressure, massage, or aromatherapy, or if you a medical doctor, a chiropractor, psychiatrist, psychologist, or any other kind of therapist, Reiki is a complementary therapy which can be used to enhance whatever else you do.

    yes , you can learn reiki and use it as your profession . Many people are Reiki Masters who run classes and give treatments to others . More over you can be in a business of Reiki Crystals also . About reiki course i red once in http://www.reiki.jdvm.info

    If you want to scam people by using imaginary "energy" nonsense, then sure — it would not be an honorable "profession", but there are dishonest people out there actually charging for this.

    I’m sure you could make a career out of it eventually, it would take a lot of practice and networking though.
    Just start out by research and get your first level, then go from there.
    I think it’s best to look at it as not a way to make money but as a way to heal yourself and others, but hey, that’s my opinion.

    I believe that reiki training is a pyramid selling ploy.
    You do a weekend course for a certain amount of money and get ( woken up) but can only practise on friends and family, then you go on another course for more money, then another course etc,etc.

    I took a seminar in Reiki animal healing last weekend. There is a level 2 training which I may follow up on in a year or so.

    I am 76 years old and do not intend for it to be a profession or way to make a living. I will use my training with animals at my local shelter.

    55 years ago I went to college with the intention of going to medical school. That did not work out in my life and I have no regrets about it.

    Any training you take in your life opens you up to new vistas and means of self-expression.

    If you receive basic Reiki training you will most likely end up "using" it for yourself or others all your life, whatever professional way you choose to earn your living.

    Yes ,you can learn reiki from a reiki master and become certified as a reiki healer and/or a reiki teacher.It will take time to acquire these skills,so don’t rush yourself and you will do just fine.To find a reiki master or a holistic school that teaches reiki lessons,go to a health food store and they usually have free publicationsinside or outside the store-inside these publications they have listings of schools that teach reiki-good luck!!
