As Rhianna has said, your limited experience is a very poor basis for thinking something works.
There’s no new issue raised. Quite simply, if very cheap, nice smelling vegetable oil healed people, it would be a great replacement for expensive drugs in hospitals. The fact they are not used in hospitals is because they don’t work.
