Technical Equipment For Voice Over Careers

If you want to get into the voiceover game, then you need to bring into play a couple of technical aspects to your playbook.

You need to ensure that you have the right kind of recording equipment and delivery facilities.

Examples of the right kind of voiceover recording equipment includes
- a good microphone, like the Sennheiser MKH-416-(P48) shotgun microphone
- Decent mixing equipment, I prefer the Multi-Channel External Mixing Board
- Production software, my personal favourite is Adobe Audition CS3 Audio Editing
- A good sound card – the industry standard is the HP PC w/Sound Blaster X-Fi Soundcard

To be able to deliver you voiceover work in a timely fashion, you will need:

- High Speed Internet
- SFX Library
- Royalty Free Music Beds, and Voice Imaging Beds/FX
