What is the best/economic way to train to be a life coach?

I would like to add life coaching to my holistic/energy healing practice. Would like to train as a life coach, but want to get my monies worth. Most programs just seem like over-priced fluff! Ideas anyone? Thanks!

Our dog was just diagnosed with kidney failure a couple of weeks ago. We’ve changed to a prescription diet with phosphorus binder added to it. He seemed to be doing well with the change (after a 3 night stay on iv fluids in the vet hospital) but when he was in for a re-check, his Creat and BUN levels have increased again. Any suggestions for a natural or holistic remedy that can help heal his kidneys?

Though a lot of natural remedies are very safe, since your dog’s health is quite delicate right now, I suggest you go to a holistic vet, to make sure you get exactly the right thing for him. Just to be on the safe side.

my girlfriend is into holistic healing, including crystals. I don’t know which crystals she has or what minerals they contain, but I’m looking for crystals to help with mediation and chakra balancings. Anything that will assist in uplifting the spirit and mind, bringing calm and ease to one self would be very much appreciated.

My stones have always kind of spoke to me. If you want to buy her a stone, i say take her with you to a shop and let her choose.
If you have a price limit though, you might want to check out the shop alone first, so you can get an idea of what you are willing to spend, and take her to the area of stones that are in your range. I am sure she will understand if you give her a choice of rocks to choose from.

I have a small collection of stone.I like:

amethyst
citrine
clear quartz
rose quartz
tiger eye
agate–several different types
jasper
jade
carnilian
moonstone
obsidian
bloodstone
unikyte
malachite

I even have some that I am not sure of.

I do not suggest gifting onyx. that may have some effects on your relationship, unintentionally.

I’ve been reading a few things here and there saying some pretty crazy stuff about the medications approved by the FDA. For example, did you know Coumadin contains arsenic?? Why aren’t people who are sick or who want to avoid sickness seeking out better healing measures??

I am a huge believer in naturopathic healing modalities and nutrition and herbs and such.

Herbs and natural cures go to the root cause of the illness that may be causing multiple diseases which are really all symptoms of the root cause which doctors term each a disease instead of the symptoms they really are. This is why herbs often fix a diverse number of various diseases as they fix the root cause of seemingly unrated illnesses.

They also ignore preventive medicine. this is due to effective brainwashing that doctors are the only ones who know anything, the idea that anyone not an MD is a quack as well as the poor quality of most herbal products which renders them ineffective (only use organic tinctures in most cases and do not use herbs that are standardized..learn to make you own herbal tinctures using at least 50-75% herbs and the rest menstrum (usually vodka) using bulk organic and wild crafted herbs at a strong strength. Take about 2 dropperfuls 3-5 times a day so use enough.

also people do not want to follow the innate voice in their head that tells them what to do but to instead rely on some expert who is not you and not innately connected with your case and who wishes to heal it far more than doctors do.you but you don’t think you can, but you really, really can..no matter how serious it is..do not give your power away..even incurable illnesses have been cured..

People need to trust themselves and learn things themselves in order to make good decisions.

Also we have a pill society viewpoint..I will live a decadent, unhealthy lifestyle (drink, smoke, take drugs, eat junk, stress out, hate people, do not relax or exercise, etc) and then when I get sick will look for and expect a pill to fix me..it is this desire for the quick fix..true health involves thought and time and effort.

It is all about money and therefore they now market drugs directly to consumers..they lock doctors hands not letting them practice alternative health much as they are the way the drug companies push their drugs by giving doctors perks..

Smart people break the get them rich and let them fix me thinking by researching alternative health, and knowing what they are doing..I rarely that their stuff and my health is pretty good. If I am ill, I immediately reach for an herb or nutrient or food said to help it and design a program of healing and do not visit doctors unless I need a diagnosis or in drastic cases. I do not take their drugs unless I thoroughly research weighing pros and cons..I rarely take drugs as I feel they often make you worst or carry too many dangers.

the natural way is the best way but one must siphon through all the "natural" products to find the ones that truly are and are not some marketing campaign.

Keep preaching natural healing and advising others..the more people that see it works, the more people will demand it..used to be one could not find any organic foods..the demand went up and now most places have at least some.

A golden retriever at age 1 1/2 yrs has cancer…..wow, so young. Anyone familiar with holistic treatments????

My dear friend from work got a gorgeous male golden less than 1 year ago! She is considering holistic healing. The option is/was surgery, but the cancer is in the flank area of his back leg, and high up……not easy to amputate. They could attempt removal and treatments, but my friend is sickened at the thought and is considering alternative treatment in the holistic area. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY GUIDANCE OR EXPERIENCE IN HOLISTIC HEALING FOR THIS CIRCUMSTANCE?

Note: Breeder knows, has offered another puppy, all the proper steps have been taken. This is not the question, the holistic healing is the question, please. Thank you.

In a case like this (you don’t mention the type of cancer) I would go to a canine oncologist.

I did this when one of my young dogs got a mast cell tumor on her neck. Naturally amputation was not an option!

Her oncologist worked with the other specialists to have an appropriate surgery and she made a full recover with no problems.

It wasn’t cheap, but my dog is still with me.

I wish there were a holistic option, but there wasn’t one that I found that was reliable.

If you find a possible holistic option, use it in conjunction with a canine oncologist for the best possible results.

Yes it is possible to think illness away.
Recent study has shown that the mind has the ability to heal the body usually more effectively than conventional medicine.

During ice-breakers or personality quizzes the question of "what is your favorite color" always seems to end up popping up. Almost every person has their go to response, but what is the basis for this favoritism towards certain hues. Does "color therapy" and holistic healing practices dealing with color associations have any analytical evidence that proves its validity? What makes people associate colors with feelings (I.E; a light green painted room spawns creativity)?

Long ago the Hebrews used the word colors for eyes. This gives a different and deeper meaning to the saying, "A king scattereth away all evil with his eyes". I believe the "attraction" has to do with the evolving spirituality of a person, and their eyes or colors significant of spiritual abilities. This gets complicated but not without understanding. I think it was Mozart or perhaps Beethoven who sat in front of a violet curtain when composing. Analytical evidence? Don’t know of any. It perhaps falls into the struggle between materialism and spiritually intuited truths.
