Returns for online auctions: seller requirements
March 1st, 2010 | by admin |Return requests are frustrating for internet-based sellers everywhere. Some people hope to not accept returns at all by providing a no returns policy in their auctions, or they do not wish to handle returns since their wholesale dropship supplier maintains a no return policy. In many cases, sellers state they will honor returns within one week, so long as the buyer pays return shipping. They might also tack on a restocking fee, usually as a percentage of the purchase price. However, new sellers need to be aware that you may be compelled to accept returns despite any no return policy you have in place if a buyer claims that you sold something that was Significantly Not As Described (SNAD) in your ad.
