    I hate like …
I hate like this because obviously the doctor who was prescribing these alternative medicines is a quack. But that doesn’t mean that other other alternatives will not work.
I actually cant comment on alternative cancer medicine because I know little about it, but I DO know a bit about homeopathic medicine and bach flowers. I wish idiots like this would stop giving alternative medicine a bad name.

    look dipstick, you …
look dipstick, you don’t have enough knowledge to even begin to comment intelligently on the subject. you’re just trying to ridicule those who try something different ,while ignoring facing the reason they do this- BECAUSE EVERYONE KNOWS MEDICINE DOESN’T WORK. so shut your ignorant trap, media whore.

    According to the …
According to the medical people– if you survive 5 years–, you are cured. If you die 1 day after the 5 years, , they dont care because according to their data -you were cured a 100%!!. BECAUSE YOU SURVIVED 5 YEARS!!.

I do not think that …
I do not think that all the data being mentioned is true. I am a mother of a son, who at age 3, had a brain tumor. He is now age 21, because we did in fact use alternative healing modalities to get him well. He is not maimed, crippled with shunts, braces or breathing tubes, as witnessed by myself who teaches such survivors of brain tumor operations. We used herbal remedies along with chemo, and this did not work. No chemotherapy did work.

    People who are open …
People who are open to the idea of using alternatives to chemo see cancer as a lifestyle disease brought on by our poor choices & our polluted environment. Perhaps of greater importance, they see it as a SYSTEMIC disease rather than as just the tumor. They know that the body has great powers of self-healing given the proper support. So: detox the body of all that accumulation of enviromental sludge. Then give it all the raw materials it needs to grow a killer immune system. Makes sense!

    The figures I …
The figures I offered are specific to Hodgkins Lymphoma.

Which method is that exactly? Why wasn’t it peer reviewed, meta analyzed and published in a reputable journal? Because if it were, every oncologist including myself (technically, I’m a medical student) would be using it. It would be all over the news and the discoverer would be given a Nobel prize.

There’s a process to weed out fraud and falsified data, when someone makes claims like that without following the process, something’s up.

    Where are you …
Where are you getting that information? “there are natural or alternative cancer treatments that can provide more than a 93% true cure rate on recently diagnosed cancer patients, and can even achieve a greater than 50% true cure rate on cancer patients given up on by orthodox medicine?”
I also suggest you read the book Galileo’s Lawyer.

    Yeah, people …
Yeah, people survive Hodgkins Lymphoma by using alternative medicines, around 5% of them.

    So lets see, …
So lets see, without Chemotherapy, you have about a 5% chance of 5 year survival with Hodgkin lymphoma.

    With Chemotherapy, it’s 90%.

Hodgkins lymphoma was documented for over 100 years before Chemo was invented and Chemo has been in use as a treatment for around 70 years.

So we have around 200 years worth of data points, all suggesting it works quite well, and you’re going to dispute that?

    Yes, but he had …
Yes, but he had four months of chemotherapy before he ran away.

    What a nightmare!

This guy should try interviewing or reviewing cases where people have survived cancer through alternative means rather than spew propaganda.

Or it can kill him. …
Or it can kill him. Chemotherapy is a “medicine” designed to kill the cancer before it kills the patient. I know too many people who have cured their own cancer to go to a doctor. Chemotherapy is a pseudoscience.

    My God, I have …
My God, I have never read such ing stupid, pseudophilosophical, medically ignorant comments in my life! Johnny has a nail in his foot and cries “no, don’t take it out, it hurts”, so the parents leave it in and do a chant. The kid dies. Should the parents have removed the nail over the kids protests? Should the law MAKE them remove the nail? All life saving measures only prolong life, because we all die no matter what, eventually. This treatment can give the kid TIME, perhaps a lifetime.

    It is not possible …
It is not possible to be 90%, chemotherpy doesnt cure anything. You can’t fight poisen with poisen. This is nuts. They should be charged for fraud for making such a false claim.
